Bishops Moat
Last year the Bishops Palace in Wells, England’s smallest city, put on a wonderful display of homemade poppies. The stood proud and high on their tall metal stems.
This year the field of poppies has been replaced with a display around the moat.
The moat, and the city is famous for its family of swans. Today this one found itself behind the poppies.
The real swans became famous when they started ringing the bell for food.
And equally famous for their large numbers of cygnets.
