I think this sky over Somerset yesterday contained Altocumulus stratiformis clouds. I could be completely wrong but whatever they are called they looked great. Stretching overhead all the way to Creech Hill in the distance.

Apparently, their presence forecasts that bad weather is on its way – in six hours it will rain.
In six hours, almost to the minute, it started to rain!
