Lynchcombe Steps

One of the first signs of spiring on Lynchcombe nature reserve is the appearance of the first primroses. Today was a day of spring flowers and spring rain.

Dark Clouds

Storm Approaching – Deerleap, Somerset, UK. ID 810_1646

Dark clouds lurk behind the dry stone walls of Deerleap and Lynchcombe.  At this time of year the weather can be anything from 17 degree heat to rain, hail and dark grey clouds.

Primroses

In tucked away corners of woodland and along the base of hedges primroses are appearing over Lynchcombe.
