Cadbury Castle, also known as King Arthur’s Camelot, is a hill fort in South Somerset. Today it was surrounded by a yellow sea.
Also known as Rapeseed, today this yellow plant is grown across the country for animal feed, vegetable oils and biodiesel. Even high on the Mendip Hills in the north of Somerset traditionally green fields are turning yellow.
Some of the plants escape the captivity of the farmers fields and spread along waterways and road-side verges.
It is not liked by all – but the yellow colour is glorious.
