More flies around Somerset than butterflies. Also birds, dragonflies and of course planes. Somerset puts on a series of air shows each year.
Where better to watch the famous Red Arrows than from the beach at Weston-super-Mare on a sunny day.
This triangular plane is important to our family as my father-in-law flew in Vulcans for many years. Here the vulcan flies over Brean Down the rocky extension of the Mendip Hills in the Bristol Channel.
I have an infinity for this old Sea King SAR helicopters – the big yellow canaries.
Only a few weeks ago the Red Arrows put on another show framing the church at Uphil.
In previous years the weather has not been so kind to the Red Arrows.
