Its that time of year again when the sunrises as I drive, or even better cycle, to work.
I drew up a plan for today… get up at 5:30am, go to the small village of Hardway and photograph the sun rising behind St Alfreds’s Tower with an old oak tree in the foreground. This idea had been in my head for a couple of years and today the weather could be perfect.
Of course, this was the plan. Sadly I got up to late, so instead I stayed on the main road and was lucky to be at Tower Hill north of Templecombe just as the sun came over the horizon.
This was a quick stop, click and go.
Five minutes later I was on the road again.
