The sun rises above Lynchcombe nature reserve on Easter Sunday.
Easter Day at Lynchcombe
Today I walked around Lynchcombe to check on the condition of the nature reserve following the recent blizzards. Sheep are grazing the grass keeping it short for the wild flowers and butterflies that should soon emerge.
The views across the Somerset Levels are always impressive.
The Somerset Wildlife Trust has been clearing sections of scrub to create flight paths around the reserve for bats.
