Yellow dandelions are appearing all over Somerset.
Dandelions close their flowers in the cold and dark. Despite there being millions of flowers the weather has been so bad that catching them open has been difficult.
On occasion, the sun has appeared the sky is blue and the view over to Somerset villages across the fields has been fabulous.
More dandelions than you can count.
When I talk to others about these flowers the most common response is why the fields have not been sprayed. But, I love them.
I do appreciate they can be pest taking over the landscape. But a single flower can be beautiful.
When you look close they are a maze of details just as this tiny aphid that I only noticed back home on the computer.
