I had a request for a panorama of the Somerset Levels from a specific field high up in the Mendip Hills. This week the weather had been so fantastic I headed up passed Model Farm and up the hill to find that view.
The evening light was pretty much perfect. A clear autumn evening with clear skies all the way to Glastonbury Tor and a few fluffy clouds.
I reaching the field above Wookey Hole (and Wells) and it was full of sheep. They were very interested in what I was doing, and I was keen to include them as foreground interest.
After a few failed attempts I finally got the panorama I wanted.
The picture is 4 or 5 images joined together so the resolution ended up being a huge. Below is a crop of the area around Glastonbury Tor.
I big thank you to the sheep who made it possible.
