A regular annual visit to the Large Blue (Maculinea arion) open day on Collard Hill, Somerset. I can recommend visiting Collard Hill during the summer open days. Some brilliant volunteers and many pairs of eyes....

Very early in the morning for a walk around the tiny Somerset Wildlife Trust reserve of Tor Hole Fields and a drive around Priddy then back home via Stoke Camp butterfly reserve.
