Hadspen
Having been working in Death Valley for a while – a place with the record for the hottest day on earth – today I was back in England where winter temperatures are nearly 40 degrees lower!
Hadspen
Near Castle Cary a rich South African is transforming the Hadspen House estate into a destination hotel.
The aspiration is to create a high quality environment which will enable the historic park, gardens and buildings to be accessible to the public and to accommodate up to 100,000 visitors per year.
I look forward to the gardens being open to the public. Today I settled for views from the roadside – views that included a fantastic early winter frost.
The sheltered dip attracts mist. Alongside the road a recently planted orchard exposes the depths of the mist.
