Invasion of the Dandelions
The mild February and recent warm weather may be responsible for the huge numbers of dandelions in the fields in Somerset – and the rest of the UK. This field is up in the Mendip Hills near the Dearleap car park. It is yet to go to seed – when each plant will produce thousands of wind blown seeds. I watched the field as a dark cloud moved across the field to provide some interest into the otherwise grey sky.
