Perry Mead
Perry Mead is a Somerset Wildlife Trust nature reserve in South Somerset. Its a small but beautiful patch of grassland along the banks of the River Cary.

To me there is a special corner of the reserve which at this time of year offers guaranteed Small Copper butterflies.

Despite being full of buttercups the trust is working hard to make this site as rich in flowers as its neighbouring Babcary Meadows.
