Starling Trail
Another sky full of starlings at RSPB Ham Wall on the Somerset levels.
Today I was not sure where to go and watch, so I settled on the Tor View hide. So many times this is in the middle of the action. We are all so lucky that the RSPB and volunteers built this for us – fantastic!
First to enter the stage were these geese on their way home.
The first flock flies passed Glastonbury Tor.
Soon the sky is full of starlings circling around the reserve.
The majority of birds dropped in waves into the reeds at Loxtons Marsh.
