Orchids Take Camp in Somerset
Green-winged orchid at the Butterfly Conversation Stoke Camp reserve on the Mendip Hills in Somerset. On the visit we saw only one butterfly – a red admiral on nettles by the exit gate on our way back to the car. However, there are hundreds of green-winged orchids, as well as many Cowslips.
