Horsington
The village is famous for the dip in the busy A357. But it has more than that including a village pond, a pub, village hall and a church. Today set off in search of snowdrops around the church.
I did not find many, although the gardens through the small church gate had a good display.
Behind the church, no snowdrops, but I did find a big pile of roof tiles.
I found it hard to get a clear view of the church. I followed the narrow footpath around the walled gardens trying to get a good angle on the church.
From here the footpath heads across open fields to Tower Hill near Templecombe.
A great spot for a countryside sunrise.
