Life in Lockdown
When I last posted we had no idea how quickly things were about to change. In a time of spring sunshine we are staying at home. Who knows what is ahead and when or if I will be back out taking photographs.
I may continue to post using my archive of pictures from around Somerset.
We are allowed out of the house once a day to get some exercise – a run, walk or cycle. But this is not the time to stand around taking photographs.
This is the time when primroses grow.
This is the time when dog’s mercury spreads out from the hedgerows.
This is the time when the bees keep busy pollinating the blackthorn.
This is the time when wood anemones look up from the woodland floor in search of light.
This is the time when the first butterflies take to the air on already tired wings.
This is the time when animals are surprised to see a passer by.
This is a time to keep safe.
