Merry Christmas
A Strange Christmas
This is not a normal Christmas. I’m missing my son, my mum and the rest of the family. Hopefully, things we get better next year. I spent the early hours of Christmas Day watching the sun rise over this tiny city.
Recently, the skies have been very clear and this morning came with some beautiful reds and pinks.
The UK officially had a white Christmas. But in Wells – no snow, no frost, no mist – this was a warm Christmas Day. At least its not raining – that’s waiting for Boxing Day!
Christmas Tree
Down by the moat around the Bishops Palace is a new Christmas Tree. Attached is a note… (the words of which I have got a bit wrong).
I have been a very sad tree during 2020…
Please can you help me look beautiful this Christmas?
It would make me very happy
HAPPY CHRISTMAS from me to you

Over the last few days more and more decorations have been appearing.
And finally…
An evening stroll along the Vicars Close. The oldest intact residential street in Europe.
Update
A thank you from the tree.
