Staying Local

Staying local is key to reducing the pandemic.  So visiting Park Wood down the road is the perfect place for a walk with a camera.  It is small wood but each spring it comes to life with a sea of white stars filling the gaps between the coppiced trees

Like the universal cosmos most of stars here occur in clumps.  But now and again a space opens up with smooth homogeneous distribution of stars.

The stars shine when backlit in the morning or afternoon.  It is a shame that after opening in the morning they always look the other way.
