I was asked for information on where to find the best dandelions flowers in the area. For me there was one clear favourite. Up the Mendip Hills around Priddy are fields covered in yellow.

At Deerleap the fields overlook wide open views across the valley of the River Axe and the flat lands of the Somerset Levels.

Gradually the yellow flowers turn to white clocks ready to release their seeds.
