Recently I have been popping up to Deerleap for an evening stroll.  Something I started during the lockdowns as my daily exercise from home.

Today, I did not realise that a thunder storm was on its way – but I think the birds did!

At 8:10 a large flock of crows took to the air from a neighbouring field.  Flying overhead and down the hill towards Wells.

I came back the next day, and they did the same thing at the same time.

Perhaps they do this every night?

The next day I watched from my home window and at 8:15 pm a large flock of crows flew overhead and settled in nearby trees.  This was obviously a regular thing!

And finally..

The storm arrived from across the Somerset Levels.
