It is Boxing Day and what better in a tiny gap in the wet weather we have had recently than to visit a couple of stars I have not seen since the start of the pandemic.
Whitstone Hill Farm
This farm, near Shepton Mallet in Somerset, overlooks the busy road to Castle Cary. At Christmas time, as the sun sets, its stars provide a beacon to drivers rushing past. I was reminded about these stars recently so I had to find time to make a visit.

This is a binary star system visible to the west and to the south.
