Godney Moor
The Somerset Levels are a beautiful part of the England countryside. It is easy to love mountains so the levels have worked hard to create their unique character.
The flat lands are popular with cyclists. This one was lucky to find this stretch dry. In winter this road leading to the village of Godney is often under a few inches of water.
Withy lined lanes and straight drainage channels criss-cross the levels.
Flocks of lapwing flash black and white as they turn and twist across the sky.
A flock of starlings arrive at a farm after leaving the famous starling murmuration roost at Ham Wall.
