Uphill Snowdrops
Very different to the display of snowdrops at Blackford can be found at the Donkey Field in Uphill. This village sits at the edge at Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset.
Here the snowdrops push up through the leaf letter in the Donkey Field next to the Woodland Trust plantation.
There are lots of snowdrops in the open field but sadly there is no public access. Instead, you are limited to spoking your lens through the wire fence.
And finally…
The young snowdrops push up through the leaves around the edge of the plantation.
Just up the road from me, I’ll take a peek. Very much like the close up images, depth of field lovely with the last two.
Thanks for you comment, I’m glad you liked my pictures. Snowdrops are very late this year, but the ones at Uphil are often some of the earliest to appear. Thanks again, Jeff.
