Chewton Mendip Snowdrops
Primroses and catkins in Chewton Mendip are welcoming the arrival of spring.
Spring showers add a sparkle to the snowdrops.
In the churchyard is a strip of snowdrops.
The flowers nestle amongst the beach leaves. Those leaves may have been there since last autumn, or perhaps they were blown there during recent storms.
Good looking snowdrops are hard to find at this time of year.
Many petal tips are turning brown. But there is just enough good looking ones around.
As the weather warms more bees are out and about pollinating the flowers.
