Curry Rivel
Following a brief visit to RSPB Swell Wood nature reserve I could not resist checking out the church in the village of Curry Rivel. I discovered that it was looked amazing at the this time of year. Daffodils, and primroses everywhere.
But most exciting was getting my first butterfly picture of the year.
The primroses were just starting to turn. Sadly, the daffodils were not longer at their best. So I have added the church to my list for next year.
And finally…
Just down the road from the village is the Swell Wood nature reserve. There you can find a lot more primroses, this time in the wild. There are also lots of wood anemones and celandines. Soon it will be a carpet of bluebells.
