Steam Up
Westonzoyland is the home of Somerset’s oldest steam-powered pumping station that was used to drain the Somerset Levels.

The steam up event was an opportunity to see one of the largest collection of old steam engines in action.

I had a great day. The pumping station has much more to see than its steam – such as this amazing outside loo.

I did not buy this DVD. It has been a long time since I had anything to play it on. I did buy a collection of local books – these fantastic resources take so much work to put together.
