Uphill Again
I folllowed by feet back up the hill at Uphill. As is often the case I there early. Early enough to capture the stars in the night sky above the old church. It has a wonderful position perched at the top of a steep hill on one side and a cliff down the boat harbour on the other.
A bank of clouds over Bleadon Hill glowed bright red before the sun appeared.
As the dawn approached, dog walkers stopped to wait for the sun.
I flock of wood pigeons took to the sky – spooked by a sparrow hawk which escaped my camera.
And finally…
Earlier that day I was lucky to walk passed the beacon just as this rainbow appeared.
