Red & Blue Priddy Green

The village green at Priddy is wide and open.  The early morning sky was dark red, and the frost covered grass had turned a soft blue in the semi-darkness.

It was a bitterly cold but beautiful morning.

Village Green

After getting a few pictures I made a dash to the parish Church of St Laurence up on the hill.  The red had faded to orange but still very dramatic.

Snow Moon

It was also the night of the snow moon, and during a short break in the clouds I managed to get a picture.

And Finally…

The colours fade and normal sky is restored at the start of another Mendip day.  Despite the last of the frost the village green was once again green.
