Autumn Dawns

The leaves are beginning to turn on the Deerleap tree, but like me it is getting a bit thin on top.

Autumn creates a layer of mist in the Somerset Levels over which the tree has a commanding view. Turning around 180 degrees and this was the view. In the distance is Glastonbury – famous for its music festival, it’s alternative lifestyle and of course it’s Tor. In the foreground is one of the Deerleap standing stones that mark the distance a Deer can jump.
