Mist
Not every trip goes to plan. A few days ago I ventured to the top of Glastonbury Tor. Arriving in the dark hoping to catch the sun rising over a countryside covered in beautiful layer of mist.
However, the mist was too thick. Above the Tor the moon was clear suggesting the mist faded out just above my head.
But this winter morning the mist would not evaporate to reveal the sun.
Eventually, I had to give up and head home for breakfast.
I hate leaving without my shot. You fear the view will magically appear as you turn away.
So, on my way home I drove up Deerleap on the Mendip Hills to check if the Tor was still hidden under its white blanket. It was but the view was beautiful.
