Lynchcombe Steps
Lynchcombe nature reserve is high up on the south face of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. It was wide open views across the Somerset Levels. So it seemed like the perfect place to see the extent of the flooding across the Levels.
We lost sight of the sun but were rewarded with some dramatic highlights.
On another day I had fun with my new telephoto lens picking out the sunset. Sadly, again clouds moved in just after this shot to hide the sun.
And finally…
Early morning sunrise, not the most dramatic but a beautiful and very cold visit.
