Yeo Valley Snowdrops
Yeo Valley Organic Garden
Today, as part of the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival, the Yeo Valley dairy opened their organic garden to visitors. I should have guessed they would being selling snowdrops in their yogurt pots. I have to say that I have not bought one of their yogurts for years. I do remember them being really good. So may be this is why I could not resist taking the trip up to Blagdon in North Somerset.
The best snowdrops were on the garden’s woodland walk.
Most of the snowdrops were passed their best. It must be hard to pick a time for festival like this.
It seems they do take their snowdrops really seriously.
A bit of Photoshop was needed to make the snowdrops look their best.
There were lots of other things to see in the gardens.
Including a nice range of hats in the alpine house.
Along with an unexpected collection of potatoes.
And finally…
Of course, there were lots of snowdrops for sale. Looking back, I had a good time at the garden – thanks to Yeo Valley for the day.
