Spring Equinox

It is spring equinox again. Time to head up to the top of Glastonbury Tor. The more observant, looking at the feature image for this post, will have realised that I took these pictures a few days early.  Unfortunately, I’m away with work over the equinox so this was as close as I could get.

It turned out to be a lovely morning with a perfect sunrise

It was good to have some company to enjoy the colours.

This is the big give away that I was early for the equinox – as the sun should rise due east.

I walked back down the back of the Tor. I don’t know why but I rarely do this.

The levels can look beautiful in the early morning.

The fence leading up to the Tor is gradually turning into a work of art.

And finally…
I had to track down some daffodils.
