Today I made my annual visit to Park Wood to see the bluebells.  This tiny little wood in Somerset can be found off the cycle track  east of equally tiny City of Wells.

I hope you agree that bluebells are clearly beautiful.  However, each year this patch is getting more and more cut-up my what I assume are BMX rides and jumps.  I do love cycling, so I’m not going to give someone stick for getting out in the countryside on their bike.  But for me it is a shame that it is happening here, it is such a small area and we could loose these scenes if we are not careful.

To compensate, I instead focused on close-ups of flowers – searching around for some interesting compositions.
