Snapseed
Its coming to the end of the year following the Deerleap Tree so I thought I would play with some of the past images with another of my favorite iOS apps Snapseed. Especially as you can now get it for free. I list of favorite photography apps include Lightrac, Sun Seeker and Percolator. I now add Snapseed to my list as it is a great app for adding effects to your images.

It is quick and easy to use. Select a picture then the type of effect you want from a set of icons that look a like magazine covers.

Next the best part of the Snapseed user interface. You slide you finger up-and-down the image to choose an effect such as brightness, then without removing your finger slide it left-to-right to change to degree to which that effect is applied e.g. from light to dark.
Applying an Effect
You can apply a range of styles and frames. A recent App update even allows you to add scratches and light blow-outs to your images.
