Wood Anemonies in Park Wood

Park wood is a small patch of woodland near Wells in Somerset, England.  It is small but very beautiful when the Wood Anemones and later the Bluebells come out.

Wood Anemones are great to photograph as their heads follow the sun across the sky.  As the sun beings to drop in the evening there are endless opportunities for backlit photographs.  I will walk around the wood looking for a clean flower that stands a bit taller than its neighbours, then get down low to shoot through out of focus plants.

Trying not to crush other flowers when taking photographs takes care.  I would hate to spoil the wood just for a photograph.
