Lynchcombe Steps

A trip to Lynchcombe and another butterfly transect.  On the walk, this time with my son, we noticed that someone had built a BMX style jump from dug out soil and logs.  We dismantled the jump and restored the tuff and soil as best we could.

The reserve is looking very dry and is covered with bracken.  Clearing scrub is a continuing battle that will take time to achieve lasting results.
