Somerset Mist

The 1st of September and the Somerset Mist season gets started with a bang.   The best places for mist in Somerset are the Levels and Blackmore Vale. I’m lucky to regularly travel between these.  Hoping for mist I took the Ridge Road on the way to work then south via Bruton (the main road is still closed).

Glastonbury Tor

The Ridge Road has excellent views across to Glastonbury Tor.  Today the Tor was surrounded by a sea of mist.

Lusty Hill

This morning Bruton was sitting in a pool of mist.  I walked through this gate along Lusty Hill for views across the town.

The Mist Fades

As the sun rose the mist gradually faded before I continued on my way to work by 7 o’clock!
