Snowdrop Lawn
I’m worried this is not going to be a good year for Snowdrops. The warm wet weather has caused them to brown and look washed out. This appears to be a particular problem down the Mells valley.
The banks of Snowdrops in the valley are short of flowers and covered in a lot of fallen trees, branches and twigs. It was too difficult to get a clear view of fresh flowers. So instead I returned to the village and photographed the snowdrops on the village green next to the school.
I need to seek out alternative Snowdrop sites for next year.
A few distractions in the Mells Valley…
