Snow
This has been one of the warmest winters on record in Somerset. No snow, very few clear cold days. But today, winter finally arrived once as spring was getting going. Luckily, I had the day off work so a walk up to Priddy was the only option.
In Wells the snow was heavy, nice big flakes. None of it settled in the city.
Walking up the hill we noticed that its had snowed mainly on the mole hill. Perhaps the raised ground of the mole hills caught the worst of the weather causing the snow to build up on them.
Higher up the mist got thicker.
The top of the Mendips had an even covering of snow.
