Bluebell Field
Uphill’s Bluebell field is having one of its best years. Earlier was the display of Snowdrops which each year is gradually spreading out over the wood pasture from the neighbouring beech plantation.
Early Morning Light
Today the bluebells and cowslips are at their peak.
The dappled shade changes the colour of the bluebells between blue and purple.
The colour of the bluebells and the cowslips contrast and highlight each other.
One of the favourite features of the field is the black cast iron fence around the pavements. It helps protect the flowers from dog walkers, children and photographers.
From the woodland side the field takes on a different feel.
