Lynchcombe Storms

We are currently having the strangest weather in Somerset. Sun, rain, hail and even some snow every day.   I missed the opportunity to photograph a few storms (showers).  So I decided to go up to Lynchcombe and watch the weather approaching.  On reaching Deerleap it started to hail.

The standing stones on Deerleap.  These stones measure the distance a deer and leap.

The storm stopped as quickly as it started.  Even with bright sunshine on the gate the next storm is approaching in the distance.

Storm Watching

Lynchcombe provided at great vantage point for watching each storm approaching from the west from the Bristol Channel and over the Somerset Levels.
