Wells at Autumn

Wells in Somerset is the smallest city in England.  It has many historical buildings including the Bishops Palace and its Cathedral.  Today autumn was on its way but it was an incredible 19 Celsius – as warm as many summer days in the UK.

The sky was blue and the wind was calm allowing wonderful reflections around the palace moat.

Autumn colours are not yet at there best.  However, autumn is such a short season and those golden colours can be easily missed through work commitments.  So today I took the opportunity to take some pictures on a family walk with friends.

And finally…

This tree near the cathedral was beautiful in red, amber and green.
