Beacon Hill
This small Woodland Trust site at the top of Beacon Hill near Shepton Mallet in Somerset is a glorious autumn jewel. The beech woodland is gradually turning gold so I made a short detour on my way home. The weather was poor so I grabbed few long exposure shots of my favourite spots near the car park hoping the cloud cover would help bring out the depth of colour.
