April Showers

April showers are part of spring in Somerset.  This shower curtain moved slowly across the sky above Wells.

Strange Weather

After a warm dry start to the spring this week the weather changed direction coming down from the artic.  This brought sub-zero temperatures, sleet and even some snow.

This shower above Wells created a curtain of rain in front of the evening sun.

Breaks in the cloud illuminated the park around the Cathedral.

Do not get confused this is not Wells Cathedral but the church of St Cuthbert.

Snow showers are rare in Somerset during April.  More likely are hail and sleet such as this shower on Deerleap last year.
