Chimney Tops on Christmas Eve

Last Christmas it snowed and the area looked beautiful. This year the weather was grey, followed by grey and then… darker grey with rain. But just as it was getting difficult to get out of bed after one to many drinks the night before we were treated to a glorious morning sunrise followed by one of the best red sunsets I have seen.  Of course, after the carol service on Christmas Eve I did not have my camera so I borrowed Nan’s lovely little Lumix compact (thanks Jane).
