Woodland Mist
Beacon Hill
The weather was not looking promising for the start of the Christmas break. The only hope was for thick fog on the top of the Mendip Hills. Trees provide a sense of depth in fog so I headed up to the highest wood on Mendip at the top of Beacon Hill.
The fog was more of a mist. It was not thick enough to create a truly magical or eerie atmosphere. However, this was the start of my holiday so I had to make the most of the weather we had. The beach leaves on young trees gave a splash of colour that contrast the grey fog behind.
And Finally…
Another photograph of woodland bar codes, this time using on mist not snow.
