They started building the church in 1100AD and it looks wonderful made from the local warm coloured stone.  It has views back towards the neighbouring hamlet of Stowell.

I have cycled through the village several times but never stopped.  This was my first time I took the time to look around and I was delighted to see so many snowdrops.  It was starting to get dark and it was obvious that I had to return on another day when there was more light.
