Following my recent visit to Charlton Horethorne, today I returned to the church to photograph the snowdrops.

For several years the village of Mells in the eastern Mendip Hills has been my go to snowdrop location.  So it was time to start looking further afield for new sites.  I was exited on my last visit to see so many flower at Charlton Horethorne but it was late in the evening and the snowdrops were in shadow.

This morning I returned hoping for better light.

First thing and the  flowers were still wet with morning dew.
